Our Director, Lana Gaudio, M.M.Ed. is the owner and founder of Lana Gaudio School of Music and PlayLoveLearn. She is entering her third decade teaching piano to students of all ages and abilities. She began her own piano instruction in 1982, just before her fifth birthday. Throughout the next forty-plus years, she has studied under Dr Celia Goering, Dr Richard Reber, and Sir Wladimir Jan Kochanski. In addition to teaching a full studio of nearly 40 students for the last 24 years, she also composes, arranges, and performs. She has worked with many industry leaders, including James Taylor, The Four Seasons, and Yo-Yo Ma. Since moving to the Seattle area in 2014, Lana is delighted to have mentored dozens of piano teachers, and brought the joy of playing music to hundreds of households.
Mina Pariseau, M.A., Music Composition, is a Seattle-based composer and educator who discovered her love of music through piano lessons as a young child. She believes that musical inspiration and joy come from having an attitude of “play” and “curiosity” while at an instrument and learning how to listen. As a composer, she frequently works on community-centered projects, including creating works for youth audiences and performers.
Mina has previously taught music both privately and through Stony Brook University on Long Island and Eastman School of Music’s Summer@Eastman courses. As an educator, she seeks to help students learn skills of expression, self-awareness, and empathy through the process of musical exploration. She has experience working closely with students who have disabilities and enjoys tailoring her teaching approach to each individual.
Mina holds a Bachelors of Music in Composition from the Eastman School of Music and a Masters in Composition from Stony Brook University. She grew up in the greater Seattle area and now lives in West Seattle with her husband. In her free time, Mina enjoys playing board games, singing in choirs, and watching movies!

Eli Namdarpour has been teaching piano since 2013. Her passion for music began with guitar lessons in high school and she has since continued to expand her knowledge through online courses and self-study in music theory. Elahe believes in the uniqueness of each student's strengths and abilities for growth. She is dedicated to empowering her students with the tools they need to not only achieve but exceed their musical goals.
Elahe creates a supportive and nurturing environment for her students to explore their musical talents and reach their full potential.

Skylar Likes is a pianist with 10 years experience on the instrument. Her style caters to young students, and she particularly enjoys working with beginners and early intermediate students. She is a highly creative and artistic person in both the audio and visual arts. She searches for a connection with the students she works with, and builds on that rapport to develop their own inner artistry.
Skylar is accepting new students on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Zachary Heim is a professional pianist and music producer in the Seattle area. He is patient and friendly with kids, and prides himself on his easy-going attitude during lessons. His aim is to make learning an instrument fun and enjoyable, as well as educational.
